"Married?" she asked.

"Going through a divorce. You?"

"Engaged once but never married."

"I'm surprised you've never been married," Ryan said. "You're very beautiful."

"Thank you," she replied. "So, what kind of play do you like?"

He paused to take in her body. She wore a white linen shorts and blazer set with a gold silk camisole and matching gold stiletto pumps.
